Responsibilities
- Handling data entry operations in different accounting platforms like Quickbooks, Sage, etc.
- Reconciliation and finalization of periodic financial statements
- Manage year-end operations and adjust entries for the closure of accounts
- Handle multiple assignments at a time
- Utilize knowledge banks and training material to get accustomed to Canadian laws, regulations, and practice will be a plus
- Positive contributions toward the local team through a collaborative approach
Requirements
Education: B-Com, Master/BS Honors degree in Finance, Accounting / MBA / ACCA / ICMA / PIPFA
- 2+ years of previous experience as an Accounts officer in a reputable firm with hands-on experience in dealing with international clients
- Grip on accounting, financial management, and taxation (especially Income tax & Sales Tax) concepts
- Good command of MS Excel & MS Word
- Working knowledge/certification of Quickbooks Online, Quickbooks desktop, Sage Online, and/or Sage 50 will be a plus
- Good Communication skills and a Team Player
