Responsibilities
- Plan daily routes using effective navigation and route optimization techniques to ensure timely pickup and delivery of items.
- Deliver and collect various types of documents including pay orders, cheques, delivery orders, and purchase orders from designated locations.
- Handle goods with care during loading, transit, and delivery to prevent damage or loss.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with customers and company personnel regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered.
- Ensure all deliveries and collections are accurately documented and receipts collected or provided as necessary.
- Monitor traffic and weather conditions to adjust travel plans and minimize delays.
- Conduct regular checks of vehicle condition and report any maintenance needs to ensure reliable transportation.
- Adhere strictly to company policies, safety standards, and local traffic regulations while on duty.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive documents and goods during transit.
- Provide timely feedback about delivery challenges or road conditions that could affect future route planning.
