The candidate should possess a technical background with at least an intermediate level of education or a Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) preferably in Electrical or Electronics. A thorough understanding of telecom equipment, power systems, and hands-on problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role. The Technician must work diligently while adhering to safety standards and company procedures, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and promptly. This role requires effective communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with other technical staff and contribute to the smooth operation and upkeep of telecom infrastructure. Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities

Install and maintain telecom site equipment.
Perform routine maintenance of batteries, rectifiers, and diesel generators (DGs).
Identify and troubleshoot basic technical faults.
Conduct site inspections and report any issues.
Assist engineers during installation and maintenance activities.
Ensure proper handling of tools and equipment.
Follow company safety procedures while working on site.
Maintain daily work reports and complete assigned tasks on time.

Requirements

Intermediate or DAE (Electrical/Electronics preferred).
2–3 years of relevant field experience.
Basic knowledge of telecom equipment and power systems.
Ability to work at field sites and travel when required.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Responsible, disciplined, and willing to learn.
