Associated Technologies Private Limited is seeking a skilled Supply Chain Manager to oversee and enhance the company’s supply chain operations. This role focuses on developing and implementing end-to-end supply chain strategies that support procurement, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, and distribution activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in forecasting material requirements, supplier sourcing, contract management, and ensuring timely procurement while optimizing costs. This position requires close collaboration with projects and operations teams to maintain efficient supply flow and meet organizational goals.
The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for monitoring supplier performance, resolving supply-related issues, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and coordinating logistics activities. They are expected to develop and improve standard operating procedures, key performance indicators, and reporting systems. The role also involves identifying and mitigating risks related to the supply chain and preparing comprehensive performance reports for senior management. This position requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in ERP systems, and effective communication capabilities but does not include managing a team.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement end-to-end supply chain strategies.
- Manage procurement, inventory, warehousing, logistics, and distribution activities.
- Forecast material requirements in coordination with projects and operations teams.
- Lead supplier sourcing, evaluation, negotiations, and contract management.
- Ensure timely procurement of materials while optimizing costs.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve supply-related issues.
- Manage inventory levels to avoid shortages and excess stock.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities.
- Develop and improve supply chain SOPs, KPIs, and reporting systems.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Prepare performance reports for senior management.
- MBA, Master's in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant Supply Chain experience.
- Experience in Steel Fabrication, Manufacturing, Engineering, or Industrial sectors preferred.
- Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory management, logistics, and vendor management.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office.
