Main Duties and Responsibilities

Technical 

  • Support surveying activities by assisting in the setup and operation of surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and levels.
  • Assist in measuring distances, angles, and elevations accurately.
  • Collect survey data using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Assist in recording and organizing data for further analysis.
  • Collaborate with the surveying team to process and analyze data to produce accurate and reliable results.
  • Accompany surveyors to field locations to assist in conducting surveys.
  • Help in setting up control points, benchmarks, and reference lines.
  • Assist in marking boundaries, collecting field measurements, and recording observations.
  • Assist in preparing accurate and detailed reports based on survey data, including measurements, observations, and other relevant information.
  • Contribute to the production of maps, plans, and drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software or other tools.
  • Assist in ensuring the accuracy and quality of survey data through careful data collection, verification, and cross-checking.
  • Identify and report any inconsistencies or errors in data to the surveying team for resolution.
  • Assist in the maintenance, calibration, and repair of surveying instruments and equipment.
  • Keep instruments clean and properly stored.
  • Help in tracking inventory and managing supplies.
