HRSG - Innovative Business Solutions is currently looking for a competent and experienced HSE individual to oversee and ensure the development of Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) practices and compliance regulations within the operations of a container and bulk terminal, particularly for one of our clients in the shipping industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement Group policies, HSSE requirements, and applicable standards related to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
- Assist in developing terminal HSE policies and procedural requirements and actively support their enforcement.
- Ensure regulatory compliance including environmental monitoring, OSH requirements, KDLB, and any other applicable requirements.
- Facilitate internal and external IMS audits to support continuous improvement and ensure compliance with applicable standards.
- Monitor and evaluate third-party contractors’ performance and conduct vendor assessments with respect to HSE and contract compliance.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum bachelor's degree in engineering or environment with 3-4 years of proven working experience in a safety and environment discipline in any reputable organization or in the shipping and port industry.
- Certificate courses (NeBOSH, OHS Diploma, Lead Auditor in ISO standards) or any other relevant health, safety, and environment certifications.
- Good oral and written communication in English with strong reporting capabilities.
