Scatec is looking for an experienced Asset Manager to join its team in Islamabad, Pakistan. Key Responsibilities
Lead the commercial, contractual, financial, governance, and operational management of renewable energy projects throughout their entire lifecycle. Manage project Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) to ensure compliance with shareholder agreements, financing terms, regulatory requirements, statutory obligations, ESG standards, HSSE policies, and corporate governance frameworks. Act as the primary liaison for Boards, lenders, regulators, contractors, service providers, government authorities, communities, and other key stakeholders. Monitor project performance through profit and loss statements, cash flow forecasts, budgets, financial models, variance analysis, covenant compliance, and periodic group reporting. Administer financing arrangements, including loan disbursements, equity contributions, debt servicing, and adherence to financing agreements. Oversee contracts related to EPC, O&M, PPA, financing, and management services, maintaining accurate records, filings, and reporting systems. Drive initiatives to improve plant performance, operational efficiency, profitability, and cost optimization in collaboration with internal teams. Support project development and new investment evaluations, prepare updates for the Board and management, and lead the Asset Management team.
Required Qualifications
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or ACCA with 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in asset management, project finance, infrastructure, power, or renewable energy sectors. Strong expertise in project finance, financial modeling, budgeting, cash flow management, financial analysis, and reporting is essential. Experience in contract administration, financing compliance, corporate governance, and stakeholder management is required. Excellent analytical, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills are necessary. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and Business Intelligence tools is expected. Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is mandatory.
