ASMIte Inc is looking for a skilled and dedicated Full Stack PHP MVC Developer with mid-level expertise to enhance and modify our proprietary ERP system, Raqim ERP!. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in PHP development within the Model View Controller (MVC) architecture and be proficient in JavaScript for frontend development. This role involves building, integrating, and maintaining APIs, as well as collaborating on development tasks utilizing both PHP and the .NET framework. Candidates should have a solid understanding of database management, particularly MySQL, and be competent in testing and debugging to ensure robust system functionality.
This position requires familiarity with other ERP platforms such as Odoo, and online platforms like Shopify, to better support system enhancements and integrations. While this role does not involve managing a team, the developer will work closely with other technical staff to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business needs. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently within a collaborative environment are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using PHP within the MVC architectural pattern to ensure scalable and maintainable code.
- Develop front-end components with JavaScript to create responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Integrate and maintain internal and external APIs to enhance system capabilities and data exchange.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze system requirements and propose tailored software solutions.
- Manage and optimize MySQL databases, ensuring data integrity and efficient query performance.
- Perform comprehensive testing and debugging of applications to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Modify and extend the Raqim ERP! system by implementing new features and improving existing modules.
- Work with the .NET framework to support specific ERP system components, ensuring seamless integration with PHP modules.
- Stay updated on best practices, new technologies, and industry trends relevant to PHP, MVC frameworks, and ERP platforms.
- Provide technical support and documentation for developed solutions to facilitate future maintenance and upgrades.
- Understand the functionality and structure of other ERP systems such as Odoo and platforms like Shopify to inform development decisions.
