We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our finance team. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and providing financial reports. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of accounting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established accounting standards and procedures.
  2. Analyze financial data and provide insightful reports on financial performance, trends, and forecasts.
  3. Perform month-end and year-end close procedures, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.
  4. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
  5. Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank reconciliations and intercompany transactions.
  6. Assist in budget preparation and monitoring, providing analysis and recommendations for cost control and optimization.
  7. Support the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and other regulatory compliance filings.
  8. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper financial recording and reporting, including coordination with purchasing, sales, and operations departments.
  9. Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance and mitigate financial risks.
  10. Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices, making recommendations for process improvements and system enhancements.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
  3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and financial analysis.
  4. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications, with advanced Excel skills.
  5. Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data analysis and reporting.
  6. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  8. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  9. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  10. Professional certifications (e.g., CPA) are a plus.
