As an HR Admin at Ascend Consulting, you play a crucial role in supporting the human resources department with daily administrative tasks. Your primary focus is to ensure that all HR operations run smoothly and efficiently. Although you do not manage a team, your role is pivotal in supporting HR functions and facilitating a positive employee experience through effective administrative support.
Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and update employee records in the HR database, ensuring accuracy and compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to uphold company standards.
  • Provide support in managing employee relations by addressing concerns and grievances in a confidential manner.
  • Coordinate training sessions and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Assist in the recruitment process by scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, and managing job postings.
  • Compile and process payroll information on time, ensuring all employees receive accurate compensation.
  • Prepare reports on HR metrics such as turnover rates and employee satisfaction to inform management decisions.
  • Support the administration of employee benefits, including health insurance enrollment and changes to employee benefit plans.
  • Manage office organization related to HR activities, ensuring all supplies and materials are readily available for efficient operations.
