We are seeking a knowledgeable, passionate, and inspiring Montessori & Nursery Teacher to join our Early Years team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a warm, engaging, and child-centred classroom where young learners can develop academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. We are looking for an educator who is enthusiastic about early childhood education and committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of children.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons using Montessori and early years teaching approaches.
- Create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing classroom environment that promotes curiosity and independent learning.
- Foster children's cognitive, social, emotional, language, and physical development.
- Observe, assess, and maintain accurate records of students' progress and development.
- Develop creative learning activities that encourage exploration and critical thinking.
- Build positive relationships with parents and provide regular feedback on students' progress.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the school's vision, values, and educational objectives.
- Ensure the classroom remains organised, welcoming, and conducive to learning.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of teaching experience in a Montessori, Nursery, or Early Years setting.
- Montessori Diploma/Certification will be preferred.
- Phonics training or certification (e.g., Jolly Phonics, Twinkl Phonics, or an equivalent programme) will be an added advantage.
- Excellent English communication and classroom management skills.
- Strong interpersonal, organisational, and teamwork skills.
- A caring, patient, and enthusiastic personality with a genuine passion for teaching young children.
