Quality control analysts conduct a wide range of tests when scrutinising a product's condition. Some of the inspections tasks they're expected to perform are:
- monitoring assembly lines and ensuring operations run correctly
- testing manufacturing equipment and maintaining instruments
- selecting and testing a percentage of the products made by a facility as prescribed by industry standards
- identifying defects, malfunctions or discrepancies in products
