Areeb Areel Mart & Warehouse is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Warehouse Supervisor to oversee and coordinate warehouse operations ensuring efficient inventory management and timely stock movement. The ideal candidate has at least three years of experience in retail and grocery environments, demonstrating strong knowledge of warehouse management systems, safety compliance, and supply chain coordination. This role focuses on maintaining accurate stock records, managing receiving and purchase order processes, and fostering relationships with vendors to support uninterrupted supply chain activities. Although this position does not include team management responsibilities, the Warehouse Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company policies within the warehouse setting.
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for implementing effective inventory control procedures, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and utilizing warehouse management systems to track goods from receiving to dispatch. This involves managing goods receipt notes (GRN), verifying incoming stock, coordinating stock movement within the warehouse, and maintaining organized storage practices. The role requires close collaboration with supply chain partners and vendors to align purchase orders and resolve potential issues promptly. The Warehouse Supervisor must be adaptable and detail-focused to facilitate a streamlined warehouse process that supports overall operational goals.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- Manage inventory control processes to maintain accurate stock levels and records using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of stock.
- Verify and post Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) accurately to ensure proper documentation of received goods.
- Supervise the receiving management process, including inspection and verification of incoming shipments.
- Maintain safety compliance by enforcing warehouse policies and standards to create a safe working environment.
- Monitor stock movement within the warehouse to minimize stock discrepancies and loss.
- Utilize warehouse management tools to optimize space utilization and organize inventory effectively.
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure seamless coordination between procurement, inventory, and delivery schedules.
- Resolve inventory issues by investigating discrepancies and coordinating corrective actions with vendors and internal departments.
- Maintain documentation related to vendor relations, purchase orders, and stock transactions for auditing and reporting purposes.
- Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse processes and efficiency.
