Areeb Areel Mart & Warehouse is seeking an experienced Inventory Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in overseeing inventory management processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in stock handling, and coordinating warehouse operations. This position requires a proactive individual with at least three years of experience in inventory management who can maintain strong vendor relationships and support supply chain coordination. Although this role does not include managing a team, the Inventory Supervisor is expected to demonstrate leadership qualities by effectively collaborating with various departments to meet operational goals and optimize inventory flow.
The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for maintaining precise inventory records, implementing quality control measures, and utilizing inventory tracking software to monitor stock levels. The role demands strong organizational skills and the ability to analyze data to improve stock management practices. This position contributes significantly to the overall success of Areeb Areel Mart & Warehouse by ensuring timely receiving management and maintaining high standards in supply chain and quality assurance processes.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily inventory management activities to ensure accurate stock levels and timely replenishment.
- Coordinate warehouse operations to optimize workflow and storage management.
- Monitor and control stock to prevent losses, damages, and inconsistencies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure reliable supply chain coordination.
- Utilize inventory tracking software to update records and analyze inventory data for trends and discrepancies.
- Implement quality control procedures to guarantee the integrity and accuracy of inventory.
- Manage receiving operations, including checking shipments and verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders.
- Work closely with the supply chain team to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure inventory supports sales, production, and distribution requirements.
- Prepare and maintain reports on inventory status, stock movements, and quality metrics.
- Enforce safety and compliance standards within warehouse and storage areas.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in inventory management methods and warehouse operations.
