Team Lead - Environment / Chief Environmental Expert

ARAR Group seeks an experienced and dedicated Team Lead - Environment / Chief Environmental Expert to lead and oversee environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives. This role requires a knowledgeable professional with a Master's degree in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering Sciences, or Environmental Engineering, along with 4-5 years of relevant post-qualification experience. The successful candidate will manage a team of 10 persons, guiding them to ensure adherence to environmental regulations, implement effective environmental management systems, and advance the company's environmental goals. In this leadership position, you will utilize your expertise in environmental compliance management, risk assessment, and regulatory frameworks to drive continuous improvement in environmental performance. You will coordinate project management activities related to environmental initiatives, analyze and report on environmental data, and foster a culture of environmental responsibility within the team and the organization. Your role will be critical in ensuring ARAR Group meets ISO 14001 standards and maintains a strong commitment to sustainable and environmentally sound practices.
Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 10 environmental professionals, promoting professional development and effective teamwork.
Develop, implement, and maintain environmental compliance programs that adhere to all applicable environmental regulations and standards.
Oversee the assessment and mitigation of environmental risks associated with company projects and operations.
Ensure continuous compliance with ISO 14001 Environmental Management System requirements, leading efforts for certification and audits as needed.
Coordinate environmental project management activities, including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
Conduct thorough data analysis and generate detailed reports on environmental performance metrics to inform decision-making.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant environmental laws, regulations, and standards to ensure company compliance.
Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to integrate environmental considerations into business processes.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing environmental impact and enhancing sustainability practices.
Develop and deliver training sessions and awareness programs to enhance the team's understanding of environmental compliance and best practices.
