ARAR Group is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate holds a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm-D) degree from an HEC-recognized university and possesses a valid registration with the Pakistan Pharmacy Council (PPC). With at least one year of experience in a hospital, clinic, or retail pharmacy setting, the pharmacist will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications and providing outstanding patient care. This role also involves managing a team of five team members, guiding their daily activities, and fostering a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient safety and service excellence. The pharmacist plays a critical role in medication management, patient counseling, and prescription verification. Using expertise in pharmaceutical knowledge and clinical skills, the pharmacist evaluates drug utilization, manages medication therapy, and supports clinical trials through the Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS). With keen attention to pharmaceutical calculations and regulatory compliance, the pharmacist ensures that all practices meet both clinical standards and legal requirements. This role demands strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and a patient-centered approach to healthcare delivery.
Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy department, including overseeing a team of five staff members.
  • Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and legality before dispensing medications.
  • Provide patient counseling to educate patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and storage requirements.
  • Conduct drug utilization reviews to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes and minimize adverse drug interactions.
  • Maintain accurate records of medication dispensation and inventory control to ensure consistent availability of essential drugs.
  • Carry out pharmaceutical calculations accurately to determine dosages and compounding of medications.
  • Administer and monitor medication therapy management programs to maximize patient health benefits.
  • Utilize the Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) to support and coordinate ongoing clinical research activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements set forth by the Pakistan Pharmacy Council and other health authorities.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans and medication protocols.
  • Lead training and development sessions for pharmacy staff to enhance their clinical knowledge and service quality.
  • Stay current with pharmaceutical advancements, emerging medications, and healthcare guidelines.
  • Assist in resolving medication-related issues and provide expert advice to healthcare providers and patients.
