Area Manager Operations

ARAR Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Area Manager Operations to oversee and guide the operational activities within the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management with specific experience in solid waste management. This role requires strategic leadership and hands-on management skills to ensure efficient performance across multiple operational units. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a sizable team of 2000 persons, driving productivity, maintaining compliance with safety and environmental standards, and optimizing resource utilization to meet organizational objectives. The Area Manager Operations plays a critical role in monitoring and improving operational workflows to achieve high-level performance and customer satisfaction. They will analyze data to generate actionable insights, manage inventory and resources effectively, and enforce adherence to compliance and safety standards. With a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Environmental Sciences, or Engineering, along with 4 to 5 years of relevant experience, this leader will ensure the seamless execution of operations in a dynamic and demanding environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage day-to-day solid waste management operations within the assigned area/zone, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted service delivery.
Ensure effective waste collection, lifting, transportation, and disposal activities in accordance with the approved operational plan and service standards.
Monitor operational performance against contractual KPIs, and project targets, and take timely corrective actions where required.
Supervise field staff, drivers, sanitary workers, supervisors, and other operational personnel, ensuring proper deployment, attendance, discipline, and productivity.
Ensure optimal utilization, availability, and operational readiness of vehicles, machinery, and equipment deployed within the assigned area.
Plan and monitor collection routes, manpower deployment, shifts, and operational resources to maximize efficiency and minimize service gaps.
Conduct regular field inspections and maintain accurate operational records, including daily progress, attendance, fleet utilization, complaints, and KPI performance.
Ensure timely resolution of public complaints and coordinate with Tehsil Management, local authorities, and other relevant stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with company Sops, contractual requirements, and management directives while identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency and service quality.
Any other task as assigned by the Management.
