We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and components to meet project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. You will work on complex engineering projects, provide technical leadership, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities

Design and Development:

  • Design electrical systems, components, and products for industrial, commercial, and residential applications.
  • Develop detailed electrical schematics, blueprints, and layouts using CAD software.
  • Perform electrical load calculations, system evaluations, and component selection.
  • Specify and design power distribution systems, motor control circuits, lighting systems, and wiring diagrams.

Project Management:

  • Lead and manage electrical engineering projects from initial concept through design, testing, and implementation.
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders, including architects, contractors, and clients, to ensure designs meet specifications and expectations.
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring timelines and budgets are adhered to.
  • Prepare technical reports, design documents, and compliance documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

Testing and Validation:

  • Conduct and oversee the testing of electrical systems and components to ensure functionality, safety, and compliance with standards.
  • Analyze test results and troubleshoot issues to resolve design or implementation challenges.
  • Collaborate with quality control and other teams to ensure products meet regulatory and industry standards (e.g., IEC, NEC, OSHA).

Regulatory Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure all electrical designs and installations comply with national and international standards (e.g., IEEE, NEC, ISO).
  • Implement safety procedures and risk assessments for electrical systems in various environments.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and codes to ensure project compliance.

Team Collaboration and Leadership:

  • Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on complex design and technical challenges.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical engineers, software engineers, and construction professionals, to deliver integrated project solutions.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide input to improve processes and system designs.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

  • Develop and implement maintenance programs for electrical systems to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in existing systems, implementing solutions that enhance reliability and performance.
  • Prepare maintenance manuals and train relevant personnel in system operation and upkeep.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical engineering, with proven expertise in designing and managing electrical systems in various sectors (e.g., industrial, commercial.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, Revit).
  • Strong understanding of electrical power systems, including power generation, transmission, distribution, and control systems.
  • Knowledge of electrical safety standards and codes (NEC, IEEE, IEC).

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with internal and external teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Certifications:

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., LEED) are an added advantage.

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
  • Ability to work in diverse environments, including fieldwork and office-based settings.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours during project peaks.

The company is producing balls exclusively for Select Sports, Denmark and at the same time whatever Select is marketing is produced by Anwar Khawaja Industries. It is however pertinent to mention here that there has never been a written agreement among these two organizations in this regard. The company is supplying more than 2.5 million balls annually to Select Sports and its customers world wide including Europe and America and has the capacity to produce 10,000 balls per day. Protective Gears.
