Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Project Manager in implementing the Project Initiation Process (PIP) for new projects, assist in assigning responsibilities, and help distribute updates to stakeholders.
  • Assist in performing scheduled financial and operational analysis and reporting to support controls over actual, planned, and proposed project spending.
  • Help prepare project status reports (timeline and budget) for the Project Manager and ensure distribution to stakeholders.
  • Assist in identifying financial discrepancies in expense reports from the ERP system, especially for OPS projects, and help allocate Project IDs for new projects in the ERP system under the guidance of the Project Manager.
  • Conduct site visits and audits as directed by the Project Manager to monitor project progress and compliance.
  • Support the tracking and updating of project, budget, and milestone information to aid clear communication of program updates and timelines.
  • Assist in preparing weekly project status updates for the Project Lead, summarizing any project risks and presenting them to the Project Manager.
  • Coordinate with Project Steering Committees (PSC) at various sites under the direction of the Project Manager to ensure efficient site activities and inter-departmental coordination.
  • Support the Project Manager in implementing the Project Closing Process (PCP) for projects and ensure proper communication to stakeholders.
  • Perform any other tasks as assigned by the Project Manager or senior management.
  • Assist in the supervision of junior staff, if applicable, and provide support for assigned tasks.
  • Contribute to performance reviews by gathering input on team member achievements and areas for improvement.
  • Assist the Project Manager and HR in recruiting for the Project Management Office (PMO) by participating in interviews and technical assessments, as requested.
  • Provide support in overseeing hostel administration and personnel management, ensuring policies are followed under the Project Manager’s guidance.

Qualifications:

  • BBA (4yrs) or Master's degree in Project Management or MBA in related field
  • Proven 2+ years of experience in same field.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and project tracking tools.
  • Professional Project Management certification is a plus.
  • Knowledge/experience in use of Project Management software/tools
