Annafeu Apparels is a dynamic and fast-growing fashion and apparel brand specializing in innovative designs and high-quality craftsmanship. We oversee the entire production process internally, from fabric sourcing to stitching, finishing, and retail. To support our expanding finance function and strengthen operational and financial control, we seek a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant.
This role focuses on managing day-to-day financial operations, maintaining accurate ledgers, and preparing financial reports with an emphasis on costing, production accounting, and inventory management within the apparel and textile sector.
The ideal candidate possesses 1-2 years of experience in accounting, preferably within apparel, textile, or manufacturing industries, with strong skills in financial reporting software and Excel for financial modeling.
This position demands precision in accounts receivable and payable management and inventory costing to keep the company’s financial status transparent and reliable. While the role does not involve managing a team, strong collaboration with other departments, vendors, and auditors is essential to facilitate smooth financial operations and audits.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the general ledger, cash book, and journal entries on a daily basis to ensure accurate financial records.
- Prepare monthly financial statements including Profit & Loss accounts, Balance Sheets, and Trial Balances to provide timely financial insights.
- Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes, including reconciling accounts with suppliers and customers.
- Conduct detailed costing analysis for stitched and unstitched products, factoring in fabric, trims, labor, and overhead costs.
- Maintain accurate inventory and production cost records, ensuring they align with physical stock and Cut, Make, Trim (CMT) operations.
- Record and track all bank transactions, vendor payments, and employee expense claims diligently.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses regularly to support management decision-making processes.
- Oversee all aspects of tax compliance, including sales tax and withholding requirements, coordinating with auditors and tax consultants as necessary.
- Implement and maintain robust internal financial controls to safeguard financial data accuracy and transparency.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar platforms in daily accounting tasks.
- Leverage advanced Excel skills to build financial models, perform data analysis, and automate routine accounting processes.
- Work independently to meet tight deadlines while ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial documentation.
- Collaborate effectively with various internal teams to understand production costing and inventory requirements.
- Support the finance department in audit preparations and respond promptly to auditor queries.
