As a Business Development Officer for our B2B travel product, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and expansion within our business-to-business segment. You will be responsible for identifying and establishing strategic partnerships, fostering client relationships, and driving revenue through targeted sales initiatives. The ideal candidate is a dynamic and results-oriented professional with a proven track record in B2B sales within the travel industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and competitive landscape. Analyze data to develop strategic insights and opportunities for business growth.

  2. Strategic Partnership Development: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with travel agencies, tour operators, corporate travel managers, and other relevant stakeholders. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers to drive business opportunities.

  3. Sales and Revenue Generation: Drive revenue growth through proactive sales efforts, including prospecting, lead generation, and conversion. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.

  4. Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for B2B clients, understanding their needs, addressing inquiries, and providing exceptional customer service. Build and maintain long-term relationships to maximize client retention and satisfaction.

  5. Product Promotion and Education: Educate clients on the features, benefits, and value proposition of our B2B travel product. Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions to ensure clients fully understand and utilize our offerings.

  6. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to align strategies and drive cohesive initiatives. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment on objectives and priorities.

  7. Reporting and Analysis: Track sales performance, pipeline activity, and market trends using CRM systems and other analytical tools. Generate regular reports and insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably within the travel industry.
  • Strong understanding of B2B sales processes, including lead generation, prospecting, and pipeline management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with clients.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data, identify opportunities, and develop actionable insights.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
  • Willingness to travel as needed and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
