Site Engineer

Amanah Group of Companies is seeking an experienced Site Engineer with a minimum of 8 years in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing construction activities on-site, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and according to quality standards. This position requires strong project management capabilities and the ability to supervise construction activities without direct team management responsibilities. The Site Engineer collaborates closely with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of construction plans while adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies. The Site Engineer is responsible for monitoring progress, resolving issues as they arise, and maintaining detailed documentation related to site operations. They ensure the implementation of engineering designs and safety protocols to meet project specifications. This role demands attention to detail, solid technical knowledge, and effective communication skills to convey project updates and coordinate with various teams involved in the construction process.
Responsibilities

Execute construction work from layout to project completion as per approved drawings.
Supervise all concrete works, including reinforcement inspection, formwork, concrete pouring, curing, and quality control, ensuring execution complies with approved drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
Prepare and review BOQs, cost estimations, and Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) as per drawings.
Supervise MEP works in accordance with approved drawings and specifications, coordinating closely with the relevant MEP teams to ensure quality, timely execution, and compliance with project standards.
Review subcontractor billing and progress claims with the coordination of QS.
Ensure the quality of materials and workmanship throughout the project.
Supervise and coordinate site supervisors, subcontractors, and labor teams.
Oversee all civil works, from structural construction to finishing works.
Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with approved specifications.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a reputable institute.
Required Skills
- Strong team management and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and other relevant engineering software.
- Expertise in structural execution and finishing works.
- Sound knowledge of BOQs, estimations, BBS, subcontractor billing, and quality control.
