Civil Engineer

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of five engineers and technicians to ensure efficient project execution.
Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Utilize AutoCAD and other engineering software to prepare accurate and detailed design drawings and specifications.
Conduct structural analysis and assess design proposals to evaluate feasibility, cost, and compliance with safety standards.
Manage project timelines and budgets, adjusting plans as necessary to adhere to schedules.
Carry out regular site visits to monitor project progress and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies, to keep them informed about project status and address any concerns.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Identify potential risks throughout the project lifecycle and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impacts on project success.
Prepare and present detailed reports and documentation that outline project progress, forecasts, and final outcomes.
