We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Officer to join our nimko and snacks factory located in Tarnol, Islamabad
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies and policies for the factory
• Manage and optimize inventory levels to meet production demands
• Source and negotiate with suppliers for raw materials and packaging materials
• Monitor supplier performance and quality control
• Forecast and plan production requirements based on sales and inventory data
• Coordinate with production team to ensure timely delivery of materials
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and production data
• Analyze and report on supply chain performance metrics
• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives in the supply chain process
• Conduct regular audits of supply chain processes and identify areas for improvement
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards in sourcing and procurement
• Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve supply chain issues
• Monitor and track shipments and deliveries to ensure timely arrival
• Maintain and update supplier and vendor information in company database
• Participate in product development and sourcing decisions
• Communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth supply chain operations
• Manage and resolve any supply chain disruptions or delays
• Train and mentor junior supply chain staff
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in supply chain management.
