We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Procurement Officer to join our dynamic team supporting U.S. Federal, State, and Local government contracts. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in sourcing subcontractors, proposal development, and contract management. This role requires excellent organizational skills, a strong understanding of government contracting processes, and the ability to work collaboratively with international teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Proposal Development:

  • Create, edit, and submit comprehensive proposals for government contracts.
  • Ensure proposals comply with all government regulations and submission requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather and validate necessary information to ensure the accuracy of proposals.

Subcontractor Sourcing:

  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate terms with subcontractors to meet project specifications and timelines.
  • Establish and maintain communication channels with subcontractors to source cost-effective, high-value solutions.
  • Solicit and assess proposals from subcontractors, ensuring alignment with project goals.

Contract Management:

  • Maintain and oversee existing contracts, ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions.
  • Manage contract modifications, changes in scope, and performance evaluations in a timely and effective manner.
  • Implement improvements to enhance contract performance and ensure adherence to client requirements.

Firm Growth:

  • Lead business development efforts by identifying new government contract opportunities and expanding the firm's market presence.
  • Participate in the onboarding process for new subcontractors, ensuring compliance with company standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field (preferred).
  • 4-5 years of experience in government procurement, with strong knowledge of U.S. Federal, State, and Local government contracting regulations (e.g., FAR/DFAR).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational, research, and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative international team.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and supplier relationship management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working with Federal, State, or Local government contracts.
  • Experience in the North American government procurement landscape.
  • Familiarity with contract management tools and industry-specific compliance standards.
  • Experience in sourcing and onboarding subcontractors.
