We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for entering, updating, and maintaining data in our database systems. This role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter and update data into databases and spreadsheets accurately and efficiently.
- Verify and correct data discrepancies by reviewing reports and records.
- Maintain data integrity and confidentiality while handling sensitive information.
- Assist in data cleansing and formatting to ensure quality control.
- Generate reports and assist in data analysis as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline data entry processes.
- Respond to data-related inquiries from team members and management.
- Perform administrative tasks as required to support departmental functions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
- Proven experience in data entry or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and data management software.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL, Access).
- Familiarity with data entry best practices and techniques.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
