Join our team as dispatch coordinator, where you'll be at the forefront of delivering outstanding customer service to ensure the highest levels of customer happiness. Your role will be pivotal in establishing clear communication links with our valued customers, while also gaining a detailed understanding of their needs and expectations.
Job responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule the dispatch of jobs
- Communicate with drivers or service providers to ensure timely dispatch amd arrival
- Track and monitor the progress of dispatches and update relevant parties as needed.
- Handle any issues or emergencies that may arise during dispatch operations.
- Maintain records and documentation related to dispatch activities.
- Answer and direct phone calls to guide the customers.
- Handle inquiries and provide information to customers and drivers when needed.
- Perform administrative tasks such as sorting mail, filing, and data entry as needed.
- Manage the daily roaster of employees and advance bookings
What we are looking for?
- The flexibility to work various shifts Monday to Sunday between 6am - 11pm
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
- A strong focus on service excellence
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Familiar with dispatching software
- Complete understanding of using navigation or Google Maps
