We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to maintain and support the auxiliary distribution systems within Powerhouse facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting. This role requires technical expertise, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Job Responsibilities:
System Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance and inspections of auxiliary distribution systems, including transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, and wiring.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in the auxiliary distribution system, Power Tools/equipment maintenance, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
Repairs: Conduct repairs on electrical Power Tools/Equipment/Machines as needed, including replacing faulty parts and wiring.
Preventive Maintenance: Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules to ensure the reliability and longevity of auxiliary distribution systems.
Installation: Assist in the installation of new electrical equipment and systems, ensuring proper integration with existing infrastructure.
Compliance: Ensure all work complies with relevant electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.
Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections, including preparing reports for management.
System Upgrades: Assist in planning and implementing system upgrades and improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Emergency Response: Respond promptly to electrical emergencies, performing necessary repairs to restore system functionality.

Presently the Operations Staff of AEPL is supporting GE in O&M 225 MW Balloki Power Project AEPL is the Construction Contractor of 225MW Balloki Power Project. Notice to Proceed was issued to EP Contractor Skodaexport and C Contracor AEPL on December 30, 2005. The Project is based on 2x6FA Gas Turbines from GE in Combined Cycle Mode with Steam Turbine from Skodaexport and HRSGs from Alstom, Czech Republic. Currently Civil Works & Man Camp Construction are ongoing at site.GE has also signed 18 Years O&M Agreement with Orient Power Company (Pvt) Ltd. AEPL is supporting GE as variable Sales Channel.
