Dispatcher and Controller

Alba Cablink is seeking a reliable Taxi Dispatcher and Controller with at least two years of experience in manual dispatch operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks efficiently using Autocab 365 dispatch software. This role requires working in a fast-paced environment, coordinating transportation requests, and ensuring timely and effective dispatching of vehicles while maintaining high service standards. The selected individual will effectively manage communication protocols to facilitate smooth interactions between drivers and customers. Although the role does not involve managing a team, it demands excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to perform well under pressure. This position is vital to maintaining operational flow and customer satisfaction at Alba Cablink by carefully monitoring and controlling the dispatch process using advanced software systems and clear communication strategies.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and dispatch vehicles using Autocab 365 dispatch system to meet customer requirements efficiently.
Monitor ongoing dispatch activities to ensure timely and accurate pickups and drop-offs.
Communicate effectively with drivers and customers to resolve issues and provide updates on schedules.
Manage multiple communication channels and dispatch software simultaneously to maintain smooth operations.
Verify and process dispatch requests, ensuring all necessary information is accurately recorded.
Maintain attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of dispatch records and communications.
Work under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to changes and emergencies.
Troubleshoot and resolve dispatch-related problems, escalating issues as needed for swift resolution.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
