Al Shifa Trust Eye Hospital is seeking a skilled Oracle EBS Developer with at least three years of experience in developing and maintaining Oracle R12 E-Business Suite applications. The incumbent will leverage expertise in PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, and Workflow Builder to deliver high-quality solutions that enhance the efficiency and integration of Oracle systems within the organization. The role involves working closely with various functional teams to optimize Oracle EBS modules tailored to meet hospital operational requirements, including finance and supply chain management.
The developer will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing customizations and extensions in Oracle EBS R12. This includes data migration, integration with other enterprise systems, and addressing performance issues. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong expertise in Oracle database features, SQL tuning, and developing APIs and interfaces for seamless communication within the hospital's IT infrastructure. While the position does not involve managing a team, it requires effective collaboration and communication with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and support.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain custom modules, forms, reports, workflows, and concurrent programs in Oracle EBS R12 to support hospital operations.
Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements, analyze system needs, and translate them into technical specifications.
Develop and optimize PL/SQL code ensuring efficient database interactions and high performance.
Build and maintain interfaces and integrations between Oracle EBS and other internal and external systems using middleware and RESTful web services.
Conduct data migration activities ensuring accuracy and completeness of data transfer within Oracle EBS environments.
Tune SQL queries and optimize database performance to support large-scale healthcare applications.
Utilize tools such as Oracle Forms, Reports, Workflow Builder, and Oracle SQL Developer for development and troubleshooting.
Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and assist with system testing and deployment activities.
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Oracle EBS modules, resolving issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Maintain documentation for technical designs, configurations, and customizations for future reference and audits.
Stay updated with Oracle EBS advancements and apply best practices in development and integration techniques.
Ensure compliance with hospital IT policies and data security standards while developing and deploying Oracle EBS solutions.
Collaborate with database administrators and network teams to address system performance and integration challenges.
Assist in automating reporting and reconciliation processes within Oracle Financial and Supply Chain modules to enhance operational efficiency.
