ASP.NET Programmer /Junior Programmer / Internee

Al Shifa Trust Eye Hospital is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented ASP.NET Programmer to join our technology team. This role is ideal for a candidate with around one to two years of hands-on experience in ASP.NET development using C#. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, upgrading, configuring, and debugging software applications in alignment with software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices. The role does not involve team management but offers valuable opportunities to work with diverse technologies including Microsoft Azure, Entity Framework, and SQL Server. The candidate will work closely with the IT department to test and deploy stable, scalable applications that support the hospital's operational needs. A solid grasp on object-oriented programming, SQL queries, stored procedures, and front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, and AJAX is essential. Knowledge of AI technologies will be considered an advantage but is not mandatory. This position requires dedication to maintaining high standards of code quality and improving existing systems for better efficiency and reliability.
Responsibilities

Develop new features and maintain existing applications using ASP.NET Framework and C#.
Write efficient, clean, and reusable code following software development lifecycle (SDLC) standards.
Design, optimize, and manage SQL Server databases including complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and views.
Debug and troubleshoot application issues and implement corrective solutions.
Participate in system upgrades, configuration changes, and deployment activities to ensure smooth operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver effective software solutions.
Implement front-end enhancements using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, and AJAX for interactive user interfaces.
Utilize development tools such as Visual Studio IDE and Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio effectively.
Work with frameworks like Entity Framework and ADO.NET for data access and manipulation.
Assist in integrating applications with REST APIs and middleware components.
Maintain version control of code using Git and participate in code reviews to uphold best development practices.
Support the evaluation and integration of new technologies, including exploring AI applications if applicable.
Test applications rigorously and ensure full functionality before deployment.
Document development processes and provide technical support for deployed systems.
