Key responsibilities:

  • Maintain the charity's presence in Pakistan on social media platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Develop and execute social media campaigns focused on increasing brand visibility and engagement within Pakistan.
  • Oversee the creation and curation of all social media content, ensuring it aligns with brand voice and charity goals. Coordinate with content creators to produce relevant and engaging material.
  • Plan and schedule content postings using social media management tools to maintain a consistent presence and engage audiences at optimal times.
  • Manage the social media team by assigning tasks, setting deadlines, and providing guidance to ensure productivity and goal achievement.
  • Monitor social media channels to identify trends and opportunities relevant to Pakistan.
  • Regularly analyze and report on the performance of social media activities using metrics such as engagement rates, follower growth, and conversion rates to inform adjustments in strategies.
  • Manage the budget for social media activities, allocate resources appropriately, and ensure maximum efficiency.
  • Monitor social media channels for audience interactions and respond to comments, messages, and mentions to foster a sense of community and enhance user engagement.
  • Regularly analyze the performance of social media content using platform insights and analytics tools. Prepare reports on metrics like engagement rates, follower growth, and content reach to inform future content strategies.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure social media efforts are aligned with the overall marketing goals, with a particular focus on the Pakistani context.

Essential:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, particularly managing social media accounts for nonprofit organizations or similar industries.
  • Strong understanding of various social media platforms, current trends, and essential metrics (KPIs).
  • Excellent ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Critical thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
