You will be responsible for developing and implementing merchandising strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

Category Management:

  • Develop and execute category management plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer insights to inform merchandising decisions.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal stakeholders to develop and implement category strategies.

Merchandising:

  • Develop and implement merchandising plans, including product assortment, pricing, and promotions.
  • Ensure effective in-store execution, including planogram compliance, stock levels, and visual merchandising.
  • Collaborate with the buying team to develop and implement product strategies.

Supplier Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to develop and implement joint business plans.

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage budgets for merchandising initiatives.
  •  Analyze sales data and financial reports to inform merchandising decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve profitability and reduce costs.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.

2. 3-5 years of experience in merchandising, category management, or related field.

3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Skills:

1. Knowledge of category management principles and practices.

2. Certification in merchandising, category management, or related field.
