Al Alwaan Foods, a renowned HACCP-certified corporate catering company is seeking the services of an Operational Captain for their In-House Cooking Operations.
- Complete end-to-end operational control, including planning, execution, quality assurance, costing, documentation, and customer site service.
- Menu planning and execution of daily corporate meals and private events.
- Cost management and budgeting, including day-end costing and recipe costing.
- Food preparation and portion control, ensuring smooth and efficient kitchen operations, quality control, presentation, sanitation, and food safety.
- Training and hiring of kitchen staff.
- Leadership and strong communication skills.
- Organizing and supervising shifts.
This is a leadership role and requires strong culinary expertise, excellent management skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional food to corporate customers, weddings, and parties.
Pre-requisites:
- Proven experience as an Operational Manager or in a similar role in a high-volume establishment.
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking techniques, cuisines, and food safety regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and on holidays as required.
