We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our eCom team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting the financial health of our e-commerce operations. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and a thorough understanding of e-commerce financial practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee daily financial transactions including sales, purchases, and returns.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for all e-commerce activities.
  • Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow to ensure financial stability.
  • Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and budget analysis.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the eCom team to develop and implement financial strategies.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process.
  • Perform internal audits and ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in an e-commerce environment.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
