Accounts Executive

We are seeking an experienced and motivated "Accounts Executive" to oversee the full accounting function for our UK-based security company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the full accounting function for the UK-based security company.
Prepare and finalize year-end financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
Prepare and submit VAT returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with UK tax legislation.
Maintain and reconcile financial records, ensuring they are up-to-date and accurate.
Manage all aspects of accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices, making payments, and following up on overdue accounts.
Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors as required.
Payroll management with full knowledge of UK labor laws, tax codes, and employee benefits.
Interact with clients via calls and emails, so the candidate should have full command of spoken English.
Maintain basic knowledge about tender processes, documentation, and requirements.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within a UK-based security company.
Strong computer skills, including experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
