Aisha Steel Mill Limited Karachi, Pakistan is seeking a detail-oriented Executive - Treasury to oversee and execute various treasury-related operations with a strong focus on accurate financial recording and compliance. The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of relevant experience and demonstrates proficiency in risk management, liquidity management, financial forecasting, and treasury operations. This role does not include team management responsibilities but requires coordination with the treasury department to ensure seamless processing and reconciliation of financial transactions. Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is essential to accurately record customer receipts, manage short-term and long-term financing, and perform bank reconciliations in a timely manner. The Executive - Treasury is also responsible for maintaining precise financial analysis and reporting, managing bank relationships, ensuring compliance with company policies, and supporting month-end closing processes. This role demands the ability to enforce financial controls while ensuring that all treasury transactions are well documented and have a clear audit trail. The position plays a key role in managing liquidity and financial risks to optimize the companys cash flow and financial health, contributing to the overall stability and growth of the organization.
Responsibilities

  • Record customer receipts and daily collections accurately in the SAP S/4HANA system to maintain up-to-date financial data.
  • Handle all short-term financing transactions including Running Finance, FATR, and Istisna arrangements with precision and adherence to company policies.
  • Record long-term loan transactions such as drawdowns and repayments ensuring correctness and timeliness.
  • Ensure debit advices are arranged appropriately to facilitate bank reconciliations and support accuracy in financial statements.
  • Perform weekly and monthly bank reconciliations using SAP S/4HANA to verify account balances and identify discrepancies promptly.
  • Record and verify bank charges, letters of credit related charges, and guarantee commissions in an accurate manner to ensure proper accounting.
  • Collaborate with the treasury operations team to obtain necessary account statements and transaction details for reconciliation and reporting.
  • Support the monthly financial closing process by posting and reconciling all treasury-related entries to ensure comprehensive and accurate financial records.
  • Maintain proper documentation and a clear audit trail for every treasury transaction to comply with internal controls and external audit requirements.
  • Adhere strictly to company financial policies and controls to mitigate financial risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct financial analysis and reporting to provide insights into treasury operations and aid management decision-making.
  • Manage bank relationships by coordinating with banking partners to resolve issues and facilitate smooth transaction flows.
  • Monitor liquidity levels and participate in liquidity management to optimize the companys cash resources efficiently.
