You will be responsible for enhancing and optimizing high-quality images of residential and commercial properties for marketing purposes. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong image editing skills, and a thorough understanding of real estate photography best practices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Image Enhancement:
- Color Correction: Adjust brightness, contrast, saturation, and white balance to ensure accurate and appealing color representation.
- Exposure Correction: Correct over- or underexposure to achieve balanced lighting and highlight key features.
- Perspective Correction: Remove distortion and straighten lines to create a more professional and appealing look.
- Background Removal/Replacement: Remove unwanted objects or replace backgrounds to enhance the visual appeal and focus on the property.
- Retouching: Remove blemishes, scratches, and other imperfections from images.
- Image Optimization:
- Resize and Compress: Optimize images for web and print use, ensuring high-quality while minimizing file size.
- Prepare Images for Marketing: Prepare images for use on websites, social media platforms, brochures, and other marketing materials.
- Create Virtual Tours: (Optional) Assist in the creation of 360-degree virtual tours using photo editing software.
- Quality Control:
- Ensure all edited images meet high-quality standards and are free of errors.
- Maintain consistency in image style and branding across all marketing channels.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom (essential).
- Knowledge of other image editing software (e.g., Capture One Pro) is a plus.
- Familiarity with basic image file formats (JPEG, TIFF, PNG).
- Other Duties:
- Assist in other marketing projects as needed.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in real estate photography and image editing.
