We are currently looking for a creative, curious, and highly motivated AI Intern to join our IT startup. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy exploring how things work, identifying real-world problems, experimenting with new technologies, and building practical solutions beyond textbook knowledge. The internship offers hands-on experience with modern AI and software technologies to prototype ideas and develop products that address large-scale challenges. Key Responsibilities
- Identify real-world problems and opportunities where AI or technology can create significant impact.
- Develop creative ideas into working prototypes, experiments, and practical solutions.
- Research and experiment with contemporary AI technologies, tools, frameworks, and models.
- Build and test AI-powered features, proof-of-concepts, and small applications.
- Collaborate with team members to break down complex problems into manageable components.
- Explore various approaches, test assumptions, analyze results, and iteratively improve solutions.
- Utilize AI tools effectively for research, coding, automation, and productivity enhancement.
- Independently learn new technologies and apply them to ongoing projects.
- Work closely with developers, product thinkers, and team members to convert ideas into usable products.
- Document experiments, findings, failures, and lessons learned.
- Actively participate in brainstorming sessions, contributing original and innovative ideas.
- Prepare technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and deployment guides.
- Stay updated on advancements in Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), autonomous agents, EdTech, and other emerging technologies.

Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a deep curiosity about AI, software, and emerging technologies.
- Ability to understand concepts thoroughly rather than relying on memorization.
- Willingness to experiment, learn from failures, and persistently iterate.
- Capacity to research and learn unfamiliar technologies independently and collaboratively.
- Creative thinking and the ability to approach problems from multiple perspectives.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Genuine interest in building practical solutions beyond academic requirements.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience is not mandatory; however, projects, experiments, GitHub repositories, university projects, hackathons, open-source contributions, or personal AI experiments are highly valued.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript, fundamental software development concepts, APIs, version control (Git/GitHub), REST APIs, JSON, basic databases and SQL, AI/ML fundamentals, generative AI, prompt engineering, and AI-assisted development is desirable.
- Understanding of embeddings, vector databases, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), AI agents, and modern AI development tools and frameworks is a plus.
- Strong soft skills including excellent communication, interpersonal abilities, attention to detail, organizational skills, creativity, adaptability, and the capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Hybrid remote work location based in Islamabad.
- Monthly stipend ranging from Rs10,000 to Rs30,000.
