Ahbab Sweet is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with at least five years of experience in financial reporting and general ledger accounting. The ideal candidate will manage various accounting functions such as accounts payable and receivable, tax compliance, and financial statement analysis to support the company's financial health. This role requires thorough knowledge of ERP systems including SAP and Oracle. The Accountant will work independently without managing a team, focusing on accuracy and timely completion of financial records to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records including general ledger entries and reconciliations to ensure the integrity of financial data.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to support efficient cash flow and vendor relations.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations by preparing and submitting tax returns and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of applicable laws.
Analyze financial statements to provide insights on the financial status and support business decision-making.
Utilize ERP software such as SAP and Oracle to record, track, and report financial transactions.
Conduct regular audits and review accounting processes to identify and implement improvements.
Collaborate with internal departments to gather and verify financial information for reporting purposes.
Perform month-end and year-end closing activities accurately and on schedule.
Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting processes.
Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to company policies and accounting standards.
