Accountant

Agha Traders is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in accounting and strong skills in account reconciliation and general ledger management. This role requires precision, analytical thinking, and the ability to maintain accurate financial records. The Accountant will be responsible for preparing and examining financial documents, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and supporting the overall financial health of the company. As an individual contributor, the Accountant will not manage a team but will collaborate closely with other departments to collect financial information and resolve accounting discrepancies. Excellent computer skills and effective communication are essential to succeed in this role. Responsibilities

Perform account reconciliations to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain and update the general ledger with accurate financial data.
Prepare financial statements, reports, and summaries in compliance with company policies.
Process invoices, payments, and expense reports accurately and in a timely manner.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations and accounting principles.
Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information.
Monitor and track financial transactions to support budget management.
Use accounting software and spreadsheet tools to record and analyze data effectively.
Communicate financial information clearly to management and stakeholders.
