The Principal will lead a highly professional team, including the Vice Principals, Academic Coordinators, Student Counsellors, and distinguished lecturers, in driving the school towards academic excellence. 

Key Responsibilities:

The Principal will play a stewardship role, leading the school to new heights of academic excellence, informed by 21st-century needs and emerging trends in the wider academic landscape. This includes setting and executing strategic goals that reflect the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and holistic development. The Principal will ensure that the institution upholds its high education standards by effectively implementing the curricula of both the Aga Khan University Examination Board and the Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK).

In this role, the Principal will oversee diverse functions including teaching and learning, curriculum development, resource allocation, and maintaining a positive and inclusive environment that nurtures student growth.  The principal will collaborate with a diverse group of highly accomplished principals and seasoned academicians from Pakistan and 12 other countries across the globe where Aga Khan schools operate. This will include joint planning, deliberation on common standards, and sharing of knowledge and experiences (including Aga Khan Academies). Additionally, the Principal will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with parents, the community, and other stakeholders, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will possess a Master’s degree, preferably in Education, and a minimum of 7 years of educational management experience at a reputable institution. The candidate should demonstrate strong leadership, and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of effective classroom management and communication. Proficiency in MS Word and Excel, along with proven experience in engaging with parents and the broader community, is essential.
