Merchandiser

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Merchandiser to manage our order processes, coordinate with production, and ensure the highest quality standards for our products. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a good understanding of trims and accessories, and be proficient in managing product lifecycles from initial order to final delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Order Entry and Traceability:

Accurately enter customer orders into the system, ensuring all data is correct and up-to-date. Monitor order progress to ensure timely delivery.

2. Production Coordination:

Act as the main liaison between customers and the production team to provide updates and resolve any issues during the production process.

3. Costing and Approvals:

Prepare costing sheets for new and existing products. Secure necessary approvals from clients and internal teams.

4. Layout Proofreading:

Review product layouts, designs, and packaging to ensure compliance with client requirements and company standards.

5. Email Communication:

Maintain professional and effective communication with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to address queries, concerns, and updates.

6. Knowledge of Trims and Accessories:

Possess strong knowledge of trims, accessories, and packaging components to ensure the highest quality standards.

7. Testing Protocols:

Coordinate with third-party testing agencies to ensure products meet quality and safety standards as per client requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Textile, Fashion, Business, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in merchandising, preferably within the textile or garment industry.
Strong understanding of trims, accessories, and production processes.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
Knowledge of third-party testing protocols is a plus.
