Job Title: Program Officer Welfare Services

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Implement the welfare program of CS and manage activities of sub-programs e.g. general welfare, wedding and burial support applications, water & filtration, dispensary, medical camps and public health activities.
  • Orient visitors to the particular welfare program terms and conditions.
  • Provide quality and good customer service to visitors and/or applicants.
  • Prepare applications of welfare activities, collect necessary supporting documents from applicants and get verifications from local members.
  • Write, edit and review welfare applications before getting final approval from senior management.
  • Manage spending and adhere to program budget(s).
  • Plan and execute philanthropic events.
  • Conduct site visits before activities and check quality of services provided by vendors.
  • Oversee free dispensary and facilitate staff for their da-to-day activities.
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly medicines list with consultation of WMO and ensure discounted purchases from local market.
  • Create reports on program activities, expenditures and development.
  • Supervise and delegate work to program assistants (volunteers, part-time staff).
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications:

  • At least Bachelor\'s degree holder, Having a Master's degree will be an asset.
  • Experience in project management and program coordination.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office-based reporting.
  • Proven record of employment as an employee preferably on a related position.
  • Excellent organizing abilities as well as a keen eye for detail.
  • Capability to deal with people successfully and collaborate with stakeholders and vendors.
