Junior Non - Linear Video Editor

Afaq(G) Ltd is seeking a Junior Non-Linear Video Editor with at least one year of editing experience or fresh graduates eager to develop their skills in video production. This role focuses on crafting engaging and creative video content across various formats, including social media, campaigns, events, and documentaries. The ideal candidate demonstrates proficiency in non-linear editing software and works collaboratively with creative teams to deliver high-quality visual stories that meet project objectives and deadlines. The Junior Non-Linear Video Editor operates under guidance, enhancing their technical abilities and creativity in video editing. They engage with multiple software tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and potentially After Effects or DaVinci Resolve, to produce compelling video narratives. This role requires attention to detail, adaptability, and enthusiasm for learning within a dynamic media production environment. Since this position does not involve managing a team, the focus remains on executing assigned tasks efficiently while contributing ideas and supporting senior editors and other creative professionals.
Responsibilities

Edit and assemble raw video footage into polished final products using non-linear editing software in alignment with project goals.
Collaborate effectively with the creative team, including directors, producers, and graphic artists, to ensure video content meets client and company standards.
Utilize Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and similar editing tools to enhance video quality through cutting, sequencing, and layering of audio and video elements.
Assist in the creation of social media, campaign, event, and documentary video content that engages target audiences and supports marketing strategies.
Incorporate effects, graphics, and animation using software such as Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or Canva Video to enhance storytelling.
Maintain organized project files and ensure timely delivery of video content across digital platforms.
Stay updated on the latest trends and technological advancements in video editing to continuously improve skills and workflow efficiency.
Respond to feedback from senior editors and clients by revising and fine-tuning video projects accordingly.
Support the team by managing simpler editing tasks and learning complex editing techniques on the job.
Ensure all content complies with copyright rules and company policies regarding video production and distribution.
