Accountant

We are seeking a full-time, on-site Accountant to join a commodities trading business based in Karachi. This role requires managing comprehensive accounting tasks including bookkeeping, invoice processing, order management, payment handling, bank reconciliations, and ERP data maintenance. The successful candidate will also be responsible for supplier settlements, customer receipts, and preparing month-end financial reports. This position operates during the morning shift and may require occasional travel.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain end-to-end bookkeeping and ensure accuracy of financial records
- Process invoices, orders, and payments efficiently and timely
- Perform bank reconciliations to verify transactions and balances
- Manage data entry and updates within the ERP system
- Handle supplier settlements and ensure timely payments
- Record and track customer receipts and payments
- Prepare and assist in month-end financial reporting and closing activities

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field is preferred
- Proven hands-on experience in accounting may be considered in lieu of formal education
