We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to join our team for the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Project in Faisalabad. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting expertise, solid understanding of local tax regulations, and hands-on experience dealing with relevant government authorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Handle local tax filings and ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with local authorities regarding EOBI, social security, and tax matters.
- Prepare and manage corporate and employee income tax computations.
- Manage salary calculations, payroll processing, and related compliance.
- Maintain comprehensive financial documentation and support internal and external audits.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8-10 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a construction or project-based environment.
- Strong knowledge of Pakistani tax laws, EOBI regulations, and other statutory frameworks.
- Proven experience in salary computation, deductions, and employee tax calculations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
