Account & Tax Manager

We are looking for a seasoned accounting professional to join our team based in I-9, Islamabad. This full-time, onsite role requires a candidate with over five years of experience in accounting and taxation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily financial operations, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and delivering insightful financial analysis to support management decisions. The working hours are Monday to Saturday, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with a competitive monthly salary ranging from PKR 130,000 to 150,000.

Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations, ensuring accurate maintenance of books of accounts, ledgers, and financial records. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to provide timely and precise financial information. Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and cash flow management. Prepare and review tax returns, statements, and other tax-related documentation in compliance with Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) regulations. Efficiently handle income tax, sales tax, withholding tax, and other relevant tax matters. Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and relevant authorities as required. Monitor tax deadlines to ensure timely submissions and payments, maintaining proper documentation for audits and compliance. Prepare budgets, conduct financial analysis, and generate management reports to support strategic decision-making. Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies promptly while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy of all financial information.

Required Qualifications
A minimum of five years’ experience in accounting and taxation, with strong practical knowledge of Pakistani taxation and FBR regulations. Proficiency in managing income tax, sales tax, withholding tax, and related statutory requirements is essential. Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards. Experience with accounting or ERP software and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities with excellent attention to detail. Ability to work independently, manage deadlines effectively, and coordinate with various stakeholders. Male candidates are preferred. Candidates must reside within approximately 20–30 km of I-9, Islamabad, to facilitate convenient daily commuting.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is required. Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CA, ICMA, or their equivalents will be considered an advantage. The role offers a competitive salary package between PKR 130,000 and 150,000 per month.
