- Assist the Unit Head in developing and implementing strategies to achieve business objectives, including loan origination targets, portfolio quality, and profitability goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective B2B clients. Act as a primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and requests.
- Prepare Credit Proposals for B2B loan applications, including financial statement analysis, and collateral assessment. Make recommendations to the Risk team for loan approval or rejection based on established criteria.
- Collaborate with the Unit Head and other stakeholders to structure loan transactions tailored to the unique needs and circumstances of B2B clients.
- Oversee the underwriting process for B2B loan applications, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established procedures. Coordinate the preparation and review of loan documentation in collaboration with legal and compliance teams.
- Monitor the performance of the lending portfolio, identify emerging risks, and take proactive measures to mitigate potential losses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including, operations, risk management, and finance, to streamline processes & address challenges.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments affecting the B2B lending landscape. Provide insights and recommendations to the Unit Head for enhancing our competitive position and identifying new business opportunities.
