As a Senior Accountant you will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of the company, ensuring the accuracy of accounting records, preparing financial reports, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. You will play a critical role in maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, improving accounting processes, and supporting financial decision-making.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions in accordance with accounting principles and company policies.
- Prepare and review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and account analysis.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of internal and external reports for management and regulatory authorities.
- Monitor budget variances and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
- Support management in long-term financial planning and performance analysis.
